He advises on all areas of tax law, with a particular focus on financial services and real estate related tax. This includes structured finance transactions, capital markets issues, investment funds, mergers and acquisitions, group restructurings and real estate acquisition and management structures.
He is admitted as a Solicitor in both Ireland and England and Wales and is also a Chartered Tax Advisor.
He currently chairs TALC, the central body for exchanges between Irish tax advisers and the Irish Revenue Commissioners. He has previously chaired the Irish Law Society's Taxation Committee and the Foreign Lawyers Forum of the Taxation Section of the American Bar Association.
He regularly publishes articles in legal and tax law journals and speaks at conferences and seminars on Irish and international tax law.
