Dr. Markus Märtens

Dr. Markus Märtens has been a judge in the First Senate of the Federal Fiscal Court (Bundesfinanzhof) since August 2006; the senate is responsible, among other things, for corporate income tax and international tax law. He previously worked as a lawyer and then, from 1996, held various positions in the civil judiciary, including from 1998 to 2001 as a research associate at the Federal Court of Justice. He is an author of, among others, the Gosch commentary on the Corporate Income Tax Act (KStG).
