About
Katharina Beck has been a Member of the Bundestag for Hamburg since 2021 and is the spokesperson on fiscal policy for the Alliance 90/The Greens parliamentary group. Beck also serves on the KfW’s Administrative Board.
Beck is co-author of the book *Green Ferry – the ticket to consistently sustainable business*, which was published in 2022. Before entering the Bundestag, Beck worked as a management consultant specialising in sustainability for large corporations and as a supervisory board member at an education fintech company; she also founded a business and headed two international organisations.
Alongside her parliamentary work, Beck is involved in the Board of Trustees of the Verantwortungseigentum Foundation, which advocates for a new legal form with 100 per cent asset commitment, and in the IDI – Initiative deutsche Infrastruktur e.V., which promotes sound infrastructure financing.
