Europe reimagined – join the conversation!
 
On 8 September 2026, the next generation of European changemakers will come together at the United Europe Young Leaders Seminar “Europe Lab 2026” at the HdEU in Berlin. We will present the position papers “Powering a Competitive Energy Transition” and “Europe Future Ready” and turn their recommendations into interactive workshops focused on concrete policy proposals.

Through panel discussions with experts and decision-makers, participants will have the opportunity to help shape the debate and deepen their professional networks. At the same time, we will launch a coordinated social media campaign on reducing bureaucracy, with participants acting as key multipliers.

Join us as research and policy come together to generate tangible momentum for Europe’s competitiveness.

What to expect

  • Concise presentation and debate of the position papers: Presentation of the two papers (“Powering a Competitive Energy Transition” and “Europe Future Ready”) followed by high-level discussions with experts and stakeholders.
  • Hands-on workshop sessions: Interactive parallel workshops where you will actively contribute to implementation proposals, key messages and political priorities.
  • Direct exchange with decision-makers: Panels and discussion rounds offer opportunities to network with representatives from politics and business, as well as fellow Young Leaders.
  • Launch of a visible social media initiative: Launch of a coordinated campaign on reducing bureaucracy and strengthening competitiveness; participants will act as multipliers and can contribute quotes and input.
